Jernbom et al.<\/p>\n<p>Source Nature<\/p>\n<p>Researchers found on the new-onset autoantibody repertoire in 525 healthcare workers and hospitalized COVID-19 patients,<br \/>\nprevalent new-onset autoantibodies against a wide range of antigens emerged following SARS-CoV-2 infection in relation to pre-infectious baseline samples and remained elevated for at least 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>An increased prevalence of new-onset autoantibodies after severe COVID-19 was found and demonstrated associations between distinct new-onset autoantibodies and neuropsychiatric symptoms post-COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>It was found three new-onset autoantibodies associated with increased severity of neuropsychiatric symptoms post-COVID-19: anti-CALU, MYO16, and SNURF IgG.<\/p>\n<p>SNURF is a small nuclear protein of unknown function, primarily expressed in brain and muscle tissues and cardiomyocytes.<\/p>\n<p>Anti-SNURF IgG is highly prevalent without evidence of molecular mimicry, which may indicate epitope spreading to nuclear antigens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Read more<a href=\"https:\/\/www.drknowhk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/s41467-024-53356-5.pdf\"> click here<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u5c0d\u4e0d\u8d77\uff0c\u6b64\u5185\u5bb9\u53ea\u9069\u7528\u65bcEnglish\u3002By August F.
